Municipality of Tukums already has successful experience with rising energy efficiency of municipality buildings with funds both from local budget and EU. To promote energy saving also in apartment buildings, municipality has joined “Accelerate SUNShINE” project. This project will allow citizens to receive grants for comprehensive renewal of their apartment buildings. This will create attractive and aesthetic houses that will be maintained by ESCO with 20 year warranty.
