Number of apartment buildings in Jūrmala is one of largest in Latvia. There are almost 1000 apartment buildings. However only tiny number of them are energy efficient. To achieve the goal to rise energy efficiency in apartment buildings – Jūrmala city is involved in project “Accelerate SUNShINE”. This project will allow citizens to receive grants for comprehensive renewal of their apartment buildings. This will create attractive and aesthetic houses that will be maintained by ESCO with 20 year warranty.
